Job summary

Faithful at Home Care is seeking compassionate ODP Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently and participate in their communities in Lower Paxton Township, PA.

Starting at $18.00 per hour with a $3,000 quality care bonus, duties include providing safe, person-centered support, assisting ISP goals, transporting to community activities, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Dependable and committed to scheduled shifts.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful when supporting individuals with IDD.
• Ability to complete and maintain required ODP trainings.
• Ability to complete and maintain documentation accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered support.
• Assist individuals with ISP goals and promote independence.
• Transport individuals to community activities, appointments, shopping and outings.
• Complete detailed daily progress notes for every shift.
• Complete required monthly ODP trainings.
• Follow ISP, health and safety plans and agency policies.
• Maintain professional and reliable communication with the management team.
