Job summary

Cedar Lake in Kentucky is hiring a Direct Support Professional for full-time, 3pm–11pm, every other weekend. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour with a $0.75 shift differential for second shift and includes health, vision, and life insurance.

You will provide general and specialized care, assist with daily living activities, promote safety and inclusion, and help individuals reach personal goals. This is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Kentucky or Indiana Driver’s License with clean driving record

What you’ll do:

The DSP provides general and specialized care and support to each individual. The care and support include activities of daily living, productive activities, and leisure activities as appropriate. The DSP will provide active treatment, safety, and supervision to individuals of the lodge while promoting inclusion in the community.

Please note that Cedar Lake Lodge, Park Place, and Sycamore Run are Intermediate Care Facilities, placing us under the “CMS Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination Interim Rule.” Under this rule, employees must be vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption prior to employment.
