Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on support to individuals with disabilities, promoting independence and dignity. Responsibilities include daily living tasks, personal care, and ensuring safety and comfort in a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required due to transporting persons served.
• Some positions/locations may require your own vehicle and auto liability insurance based on the role.
• Person-centered, patient and kind demeanor.
• Strong communication and teamwork to document care and follow support plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety and personal growth of the individuals served.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as mobility, dressing, bathing and personal hygiene.
