Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC seeks a Manufacturing Associate 3 to own critical processing steps in a 24/7 drug substance manufacturing environment. You’ll help bring new capacity online, document operations, and ensure safe, compliant production while guiding teammates on-site.

Ideal candidates have a Life Sciences/Engineering background with cGMP experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to work weekends or nights as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/experience as listed in minimum qualifications.
• Experiences in at least one unit operation (DPFG Filler or Cell Culture – Seed Train).
• Familiarity with cGMP, safety, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, execute, and document manufacturing steps including process monitoring and control.
• Perform in‑process testing (pH, conductivity, visual inspection).
• Execute validation protocols per cGMP SOPs.
• Maintain training to perform activities.
• Assist with cycle counts and materials management in the area.
• Work shifts including weekends and possibly nights for a 24/7 operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Contribute to readiness for bulk drug substance manufacturing (systems, equipment, documentation).
• Support projects: review/create procedures, transfer processes, test/commission equipment.
