The Special Commitment Center (SCC) within the Behavioral Health & Habilitation Administration (BHHA) is seeking a Primary Care Physician.

At SCC, you’ll practice in a tranquil, distraction-free environment where your clinical judgment is respected and your voice matters. Our island-based facility offers a rare opportunity to step away from the hustle of urban medicine and embrace a slower pace that fosters deeper patient relationships and professional growth.
Our goal is to hire a compassionate and dynamic Physician who is comfortable working in an inpatient setting. Doctors at SCC become part of a closely-knit team of healthcare professionals who ensure that patients receive the best care possible. Working closely with multiple disciplines, you'll have an influential voice related to the physical and medical needs of the individuals we serve. You’ll provide medical assessment and treatment in partnership with a dedicated team that views care with a holistic approach.
Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. SCC employees also receive an additional $10 per day premium pay in addition to advertised salary and a free ORCA card for transportation use. Ferry transportation is provided to McNeil Island employees.
