Rainier School in Buckley, WA is recruiting a Direct Support Professional to assist residents with daily routines, safety, and skill-building. At Rainier Residential Habilitation Center, also known as Rainier School, we provide 24-hour residential and specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located in peaceful Buckley, Washington, with views of Mount Rainier, Rainier School is a supportive community where you’ll find meaning in your work and connection with your team.
As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll help residents thrive by teaching essential life skills and providing compassionate care throughout the campus. This is hands‑on, human‑centered work where every day is an opportunity to make a real difference.
Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate. Pierce County employees are eligible to receive an Orca Card for transportation needs. Opportunities performed on site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Professionals with a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

One year of experience working with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
