Job summary

IGA in Kingstree, SC is seeking a dependable stocker/cashier to support daily store operations. You will assist with receiving, restocking, cashier duties, and basic customer service to help create a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality with good guest service.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly.
• Proficient math skills and basic reading/comprehension.
• Comfortable with lifting 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs continuously.
• Familiarity with DSD/Scanning operations and computers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSD vendor activities and ensure accurate receiving of product.
• Maintain a daily DSD receiving and discrepancy log.
• Update system files as needed and back-up receiving clerk.
• Report discrepancies or pricing issues to Pricing Supervisor.
• Keep receiving area neat and organized.
• Handle damaged merchandise per Damage Reclaim procedures.
• Follow security and shrink procedures.
• Perform as a stocker and as a cashier as needed.
• Work on additional duties assigned by management.
