Job summary

The Patch Boys in Omaha is seeking a full-time, multi-skilled drywall repair technician to join our established team. The role focuses on hanging, patching, finishing, and texture matching for both new and existing walls, with emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.

Ideal applicants will have at least 6 months of drywall experience, own a smartphone, reliable transportation, and be willing to pass background and drug checks.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months proven experience in hanging, installing, patching, repairing, and finishing drywall including texture matching.
• References preferred and must be able to provide them.
• Must own a smartphone with data plan and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ability to texture and refinish plaster services
• Work on new walls and ceilings, and repair existing walls
• Determine and clearly identify proper materials and quantities for projects
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot issues, and present a work order description
• Fit and fasten wallboard or sheetrock into specified position
• Measure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim
• Install insulation between studs and attach moisture barrier
• Remove plaster, drywall, or paneling
