Job summary

Acousti Engineering Company of Florida is seeking a Drywall Hanger in Bridgeport, AL for full-time, non-exempt work. You will install drywall and wallboards on commercial and industrial projects, measuring, cutting, hanging, and finishing to project specs while observing safety standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial drywall hanging, knowledge of materials and layout plans, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision on

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial drywall hanging.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and layout plans for drywall installation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut drywall materials to fit specific spaces.
• Hang drywall on ceilings and walls using nails or screws for secure fastening.
• Ensure all seams are straight and corners are square and even.
• Inspect completed work to verify alignment with project blueprints and design.
• Work on scaffolding, aerial lifts, ladders, and stilts as required.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, powder-actuated tools, and lasers to complete tasks.
• Maintain construction schedules and coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager.
