TRIO Heating, Air & Plumbing is seeking a skilled Drywall & Handyman Technician to join our Bay Area team. You will perform drywall repairs, texture matching, painting, and general handyman tasks while supporting HVAC and plumbing installations.

This role offers diverse daily work and a chance to grow across trades. Ideal candidates have experience in drywall finish, texture matching, and carpentry, with a strong work ethic and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Experience with drywall repair and finishing.
• Strong texture matching and painting skills.
• General handyman or residential repair experience.
• Basic carpentry knowledge.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete drywall patches of various sizes.
• Match existing wall and ceiling textures.
• Respectfully perform taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing of repairs.
• Prime and paint repaired areas for a seamless finish.
• Perform trim, caulking, carpentry and general handyman repairs.
• Complete punch lists and warranty work.
• Assist HVAC and plumbing technicians during installations as needed.
• Restore homes after HVAC and plumbing projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle.

Position: Drywall & Handyman Technician

In this role, you'll perform drywall repairs, texture matching, painting, and general handyman work while supporting our HVAC and plumbing installation teams. What You'll Do

As a Drywall & Handyman Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Completing drywall patches of all sizes
• Matching existing wall and ceiling textures
• Taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall repairs
• Priming and painting repaired areas for a seamless finish
• Performing trim, caulking, carpentry, and general handyman repairs
• Completing punch list and warranty work
• Assisting HVAC and plumbing technicians during installations when needed
• Restoring homes after HVAC and plumbing projects
• Maintaining a clean, organized company vehicle and professional work environment

Compensation

Pay: $25 to $32 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
