BLOX is seeking a seasoned Drywall Subject Matter Expert to lead the Finishing Academy and standardize our Level 5 3-day production cycle. You will train BLOX operators to achieve top-tier finishes using advanced tools and skim techniques.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of high-end drywall experience, expertise with automatic taping tools, and a teaching mindset to scale our finishing standards across operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in high-end drywall finishing.
• Mastery with automatic taping tools and flat boxes.
• Experience with Level 5 skim coating and roller-applied finishes.
• Ability to break down manual skills into training steps.
• Comfort with dustless power sanding systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on certification of the BLOX 3-Day Cycle.
• Train operators on hot mud chemistry and reduce waiting times.
• Oversee maintenance of the taping tool fleet.
• Perform light audits to ensure quality and minimize defects.
• Standardize mud-to-water recipes for finishing stages.
• Assess operators' drywall finishing skills and behaviors.
