Qualifications

• Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds to move drywall panels.
• Previous related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measures and cuts drywall panels for installation.
• Installs drywall panels to studs securely.
• Uses drywall compound to cover imperfections.
• Sands joint compound and applies drywall tape.
• Creates textured surfaces upon request.

Skills

Ability to read simple building plans

Ability to estimate quantity of materials

Excellent hand-eye coordination

Ability to work independently and with a crew

Use of hand tools and power tools

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
