The Drywall Finisher is responsible for repairing cracks, sealing joints, smoothing out imperfections, and creating smooth surfaces ready for painting. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all equipment and materials used on each project. The Drywall Finisher reports to the Crew Lead.
Repair imperfections using sanding, drywall mud, and/or tape
Smooth rough surfaces with sanding blocks
Ensure quality workmanship on every project
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Meet scheduling deadlines for project phases
Care for and maintain provided tools and equipment
Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools
Prepare wet compound for use on projects
Measure, cut, position, and secure drywall sheets as needed
Accurately track and report hours worked in provided project management program
Other related duties and tasks as assigned

Bilingual: Able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
Valid driver’s license
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have the legal right to work in the United States
Prior experience in hanging, taping, texturing, and/or finishing drywall
Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and methods used for drywall finishing
Attention to detail
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Effective communication skills
Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and safety guidelines
Willingness to learn and receive coaching
Professional work demeanor and appearance
Good time management and self-motivation skills
Ability to problem solve
Strong work ethic and dependability
Open availability to work an 8 hr shift between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance
Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 4 hours at a time
Ability to travel in a vehicle up to 2 hours
Ability to operate power/hand tools
Able to work in houses that do not yet have any heating or air conditioning installed year round
Able to safely use ladders and/or scaffolding to reach high places
Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, physical fitness, and good balance
Ability to bend and stoop as needed
