Job summary

F.L. Crane is seeking a Drywall Finisher to prepare unfinished interior drywall panels for painting by taping and finishing joints and imperfections. You will ensure seamless joints, fill gaps, and smooth surfaces to ready walls for finishing work.

Responsibilities include fixing nail and screw depressions, applying multiple coats of compound, and sanding. The role involves fasten ing panels, and cutting openings for outlets and utilities as needed, with related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• Drywall Finishing Experience (required)

• Press paper tape into compound.
• Smooth away excess material.
• Cover nail and screw depressions with spackle.
• Apply second and third coats of compound. Sand areas after each coast.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of building as needed.
• Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air conditioning units, and plumbing as needed.
