Job summary

Big Sky Service Co in East Lansing, MI is seeking reliable tradespeople to join our team. We work on interior build outs, rough and trim carpentry, drywall, store fixtures, millwork and more, operating year-round.

Candidates should have 2+ years in construction or drywall, be motivated, self-disciplined, reliable and punctual, with experience in commercial construction preferred. Competitive wages and benefits available through our team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in construction or drywall.
• Motivated, self-disciplined, reliable and punctual.
• Previous experience in commercial construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Spread sealing compound between boards or panels or over cracks, holes, nail heads, or screw heads.
• Press paper tape over joints.
• Apply additional coats to fill in holes and make surfaces smooth.
• Sand areas after each coat.
• Have a working knowledge of power tools and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
