Job summary

Bonney Plumbing Electrical Heating and Air in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Drywall & Finish Technician to repair, patch, finish, and paint interior surfaces after installations or service work. The role requires texture work and color blending to match existing finishes, while protecting spaces and upholding safety standards.

You will perform drywall patching, finishing, texturing, and painting, maintain clean work areas, and communicate professionally with customers in occupied homes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on drywall repair, finishing, and painting experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to texture and blend drywall repairs to match existing finishes.
• Knowledge of interior paint products and application techniques.
• Must supply basic drywall and painting hand tools; company provides materials as required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and restore drywall surfaces and moldings after install or service activities.
• Match textures (smooth, orange peel, knockdown) and apply finishes.
• Paint repaired areas to blend with surroundings and protect surfaces.
• Prepare work areas, protect floors and furniture, and maintain a clean job site.
• Coordinate with supervisors for timely completion and document work orders.
