Binderholz is seeking a Drying Kilns Operator in Live Oak, FL to monitor and adjust kilns for quality lumber production. You will control drying cycles, manage moisture checks, and interact with planning and supervisors to ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include boiler operation, maintenance of measuring devices, and adherence to Binderholz rules. This role requires flexibility, outdoor work, and physical stamina.

Job Description

The Kiln Operator reports to the area Supervisor. This position is critical in monitoring and making necessary adjustments to the kilns. Responsibilities include making the proper adjustments to ensure product quality and efficient operation. Drying of lumber using technical processes as required as well as operations of boilers and complete required forms; and other duties assigned.

• Communication with production planning, production manager and supervisor

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time; must be able to sit, stand, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl occasionally

• Exposed to hot, cold, wet or humid conditions
