Job summary

CK Supply, Inc. is seeking a Dry Ice Technician for a fast-paced, physically demanding role in St. Louis. You will produce and package dry ice to meet customer orders while safely operating forklifts and related equipment.

This position emphasizes daily safety, equipment maintenance, and teamwork. The role offers growth within a safety‑conscious environment, with standard Mon-Fri early shift hours and opportunities to learn in a hands-on setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce and package dry ice according to customer orders.
• Safely operate forklift and other equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Oversee day-to-day safety and operation of dry ice plant equipment including block, extrusion equipment and saws.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on dry ice equipment.
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and packaging of dry ice in accordance to customer orders.
• Safely operate a forklift and other machinery to load, sort, stage, and transport equipment throughout the warehouse
• Responsible for the day-to-day safety and operation of dry ice plant equipment, including block, extrusion equipment and saws
• Trouble shooting and routine maintenance of dry ice equipment
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
• Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words
• Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be capable of completing basic mathematical calculations and entering correct information on logs and other reports.
• Capable of working in diverse and often times unpleasant weather conditions.
• Must be able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift or move products up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Visual acuity as needed to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
• Must be able to hear safety alarms and alerts to ensure safety of coworkers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work in noisy, loud conditions, that at times will require PPE.
• Work in all seasons of outdoor weather conditions
