OSC in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking a Plant Associate/Dry Ice to safely fill dry ice bins and support plant operations with high efficiency. The role requires standing for long hours, basic gas/cryogenics knowledge, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include bin filling, labeling, daily paperwork, and occasional equipment maintenance. OSHA-safe practices and strong teamwork are essential for success in this industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of gases, cryogenics, pressure and compatibility preferred.
• Industry experience such as handling cylinders is desired.
• Forklift operator certification is a plus.
• Ability to make decisions based on facts and attain precise set limits.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and basic customer service experience.
• Must be organized with good reasoning skills, math aptitude and time management.

Responsibilities

• Fill dry ice bins according to customer orders.
• Conduct proper bin sanitary procedures.
• Properly bar code and label bins in accordance with procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Maintain proper inventory of supplies for dry ice production.
• Keep the plant clean to ensure safety for all employees, vendors and visitors.
