The Shirt/Pants Presser is responsible for operating pressing equipment to finish laundered garments to a high-quality standard. This role ensures shirts, pants, and other garments are properly pressed, wrinkle-free, and ready for customer pickup while maintaining production efficiency.* Operate commercial pressing machines (steam pressers, shirt units, etc.) to press shirts, pants, and similar garments* Inspect garments before and after pressing for stains, damage, or needed re-cleaning* Ensure garments meet company quality standards (crisp appearance, proper creases, no wrinkles)* Follow garment care instructions and handle fabrics appropriately* Maintain steady workflow to meet daily production goals* Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of pressing equipment* Report equipment issues or garment defects to supervisor* Keep work area clean, organized, and safe* Assist with sorting or finishing tasks as needed## Qualifications* Previous experience in dry cleaning or garment pressing preferred (training can be provided)* Ability to operate pressing equipment safely and efficiently* Strong attention to detail and quality* Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment* Good time management and reliability
