Texas International Terminals in Galveston, TX, is seeking a Dry Operator 1 to support daily terminal operations of dry bulk products. You will oversee railcar loading/unloading, monitor vessel activities, maintain equipment, and enforce safety protocols.

This full-time role requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of equipment operation experience, TWIC card or ability to obtain, and a valid US driver's license.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have the ability to work on multiple fronts simultaneously.
• 3+ years of experience operating equipment (preferred).
• TWIC card or ability to obtain.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing including drug test, physical and background check.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day terminal activities, ensuring smooth operations for dry bulk cargo handling.
• Manage and monitor marine vessel spotting, mooring, and shifting activities, ensuring proper vessel loading/unloading.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all dry bulk equipment, including conveyors and cranes.
• Manage rail operations, including connecting and disconnecting railcars for loading and unloading products.
• Conduct equipment inspections, maintenance, and report maintenance issues as needed, ensuring proper function and safety of all equipment.
