Job Title: Drupal Software Engineer, Senior
The Drupal Software Engineer, Senior serves as a senior technical lead supporting the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) enterprise web platform. This role is responsible for the engineering, operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of DOT's Drupal-based Content Management System (CMS) and any future CMS platforms adopted during the BPA period of performance.
This position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of overall professional software development experience, including at least eight (8) years of hands‑on Drupal CMS platform engineering experience within controlled federal or similarly regulated environments. The role places a strong emphasis on security, accessibility (Section 508/WCAG), automated testing, integrations, performance optimization, and reliable deployments.

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $150,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
