Job Description

The Drupal/PHP Developer helps the organization create and improve web properties by using excellent coding methodologies, adhering to requirements, and working with team members to create outstanding user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Design and develop user interfaces and core web solutions to meet organizational expectations. Help determine requirements and feature sets throughout the development life cycle; help determine design methodologies and tool sets; design and conduct unit tests.
• Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
• Understand and use standard design methodologies, using PHP and Java.
• Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; create cross-system integration by leveraging APIs.
• Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Update job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.
• Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Support and develop other web application developers, internal and external users by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
