Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced drum instructor to teach part-time in-person at The Music Shop in Boonton, New Jersey.

Instructors set their availability within open hours; consistency and reliability are appreciated by students and staff.

Job description

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional drum instructor to teach part-time at The Music Shop, in Boonton, New Jersey. We are looking for instructors who will teach IN PERSON.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-34/hour.
