Job summary

EmergencyMD in Shreveport is seeking a Professional Drug Testing Specialist to conduct drug and alcohol tests for various clients, including schools and court-ordered testing. This role includes collecting DNA samples and responding to after-hours emergency testing as part of an on-call team.

Job description

Professional Drug Testing Specialist

Conduct drug and alcohol tests for federally regulated and non‑regulated companies, schools, and court‑ordered testing. Collect DNA samples for paternity, forensic, and other DNA tests. Travel to various sites to collect tests on‑site. Respond to after‑hours emergency testing when required as part of an on‑call team.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm; hours may vary to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• Detail‑oriented and able to learn and adhere to procedures

• Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel
• Live within a 45‑minute drive of the office you want to work at (required for on‑call response)
