Job summary

International Executive Service Corps in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Screening Chemist with progressive levels. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated analyzers, prepare specimens, and ensure proper documentation and data release to LIMS.

Position requires degrees in medical technology or related sciences and relevant training. The role includes maintenance tasks, safety compliance, and potential overtime or weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, master's, bachelor's or associate degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical or biological science.
• 42CFR493.1489 training/experience for high complexity testing.
• Experience requirements for Acting Technical Supervisor and level progression.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot and document instrumentation.
• Label materials, pipette controls and samples, and enter sequences for analysis.
• Receive and prepare urine, oral fluids and sweat samples for testing.
• Identify aliquots by batch for computer download and release results to LIMS.
• Perform daily maintenance and maintain quality control records.
• Complete maintenance tasks and troubleshoot instrument errors as required.
