Responsibilities

• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products; respond with recommendations.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of Drug GM specials.
• Recommend Drug GM items to meet customer needs.
• Review "sell by" dates and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Reinforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting needed repairs.
• Notify management of accidents or safety incidents.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts calmly.
• Support customers including minors and individuals with special needs, with accessibility in mind.
