Continuity Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Associate in Cary, North Carolina to support nonclinical studies and the development of local drug delivery products.

This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced startup environment, including in vitro and in vivo nonclinical studies, benchtop testing of delivery devices, and collaboration with external vendors. A Bachelor of Science in Biology or Biomedical Engineering and 2+ years of lab experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or Biomedical Engineering.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience in an academic or industry environment, preferably in product development (required).
• Demonstrated experience with drug delivery, devices, assay development, and standard laboratory techniques (e.g., mammalian cell culture maintenance, microscopy, analytical techniques).
• Experience in cancer biology, drug development, and 3D printing is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Well organized and detail oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Support the development and optimization of in vitro models for product testing.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering support team to test device prototypes.
• Optimize tissue-representative models for drug delivery optimization.
• Conduct and organize nonclinical experiments to support program needs.
• Organize collected biological samples to facilitate external vendor analysis.
• Organize data for clear communication of technical results to the product development team.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and reagents in a sterile laboratory environment.
• Document and monitor laboratory inventory of the supplies and reagents needed to conduct experiments.
• Write technical documents including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, and reports.
