Job summary

SHL Medical is seeking a Design Engineer to drive development of drug delivery devices, including design, prototyping, testing, and analyses. You will work with cross-functional teams, communicate with customers and manufacturing, and travel more than 10% of the time.

You will also support regulatory filings for combination products. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in design, a BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, and proficiency with SolidWorks and FEA.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in design.
• BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Experience with design controls and regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities

• Execute design and development of medical devices following design controls.
• Plan testing for characterization, design feasibility, and Design Verification.
• Perform technical analyses including statistical and tolerance analysis.
• Lead root cause investigations and support scale-up.
