Michaels is seeking a senior analytics/merchandising professional to drive dropship promotions and online merchandising strategies from its Irving, Texas center. You will mine data to identify opportunities, craft promotional calendars, and present insights to executives, merchants, and marketing teams.

You will collaborate across pricing, merchandising, and tech to optimize revenue, margins, and customer experience in a fast-paced environment while leveraging eCommerce platforms and analytics

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in digital merchandising or eCommerce.
• Program management experience.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms and merchandising tactics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

• Accountable for dropship promo revenue and margin attainment impacting company revenue.
• Identify new marketing ideas leveraging assortments, promotions, and incentives to drive traffic and profitable sales.
• Identify and solve dropship profitability issues toward positive Operating Income.
• Develop tools to manage and streamline analysis and pricing processes.
• Manage ideation, execution and maintenance of the dropship promotional calendar.
• Present findings to executives, marketing teams, and merchants in regular meetings.
• Conduct analyses to identify opportunities in the online dropship assortment for merchants.
• Synthesize competitive intelligence; recommend ideas based on data and research.
• Analyze site metrics to improve merchandising and customer experience across categories.
• Co-establish eCommerce revenue and margin forecasts.

Major Activities

Pricing

• Accountable for Dropship promotional revenue and margin attainment that directly impacts the total company revenue and margin
• Identify new, inventive marketing ideas that leverage product assortments, promotions, and special incentives to drive traffic and profitable sales
• Identify and solve dropship profitability issues, ultimately working towards steady-state positive Operating Income for the dropship business
• Develop tools to manage and streamline analysis and other pricing processes
• Managethe ideation, execution and maintenance of the dropship promotional calendar
• Present findings to executives, marketing teams, and merchants through weekly or monthly meetings

Merchandising

• Conduct analyses to identify opportunities in the online dropship assortment that eCommerce merchants can utilize
• Synthesize and present competitive intelligence to eCommerce merchants; recommend ideas based on data and competitive research
• Analyze site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve merchandising and the customer experience across the site and various product categories
• Co-establish eCommerce revenue and margin forecasts

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

• 6+ years of experience in digital merchandising or eCommerce
• Program management experience
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools
• Experience with eCommerce platforms and merchandising tactics
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
