Job description

About Us:

Stimulus Technologies is a leader in technology services, dedicated to bridging the digital divide in underserved communities. With operations across California, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oregon, we deliver high-speed, reliable connectivity that transforms lives and businesses. We also offer IT, VoIP, and CyberSecurity services to a range of clients.

Position Overview

As a Drop Supervisor, you lead your own in-house drop installation crew in the field every day, working alongside your team to connect subscribers to the network. You own the performance of your crew and the safety of your job sites, setting the pace, holding the standard, and stepping in whenever a job needs a hand or a problem needs solving.

Your crew is doing the hands-on work that turns Stimulus's SLFRF and BEAD-funded fiber builds into active, connected service across rural Nevada. You report to the Drop Installation Manager, who sets overall crew strategy and coordinates across multiple crews and project areas; you own the day-to-day leadership and execution of your specific crew.

For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to run your own crew, lead from the front, and be known for quality and safety on every job while staying close to the tools.

Essential Functions

  • Plan and direct daily drop installation activities for your crew within assigned work areas.
  • Ensure all subscriber drop installations completed by your crew meet Stimulus Technologies installation standards, project specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Coordinate day-to-day scheduling with the Drop Installation Manager to align with network readiness and service activation milestones.
  • Conduct quality inspections of your crew's completed drop installations to verify workmanship, proper routing, adequate slack storage, and correct labeling and documentation.
  • Maintain material inventory and staging for your crew's daily assignments; **escalate** potential shortages to the Drop Installation Manager.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records for your crew, including unit counts, addresses, completion status, and any exceptions or rework items.
  • Identify and resolve field-level issues for your crew, including access problems, routing conflicts, and customer scheduling issues; **elevate** permit or easement constraints to the Drop Installation Manager.
Team Leadership and Training
  • Directly supervise and lead your crew in the field on a daily basis, working alongside crew members as needed.
  • Train crew members on Stimulus Technologies installation standards, safety requirements, proper tool and equipment use, and customer interaction expectations.
  • Conduct regular field quality checks with individual crew members to reinforce standards and identify coaching opportunities.
  • Manage your crew's scheduling, time tracking, and daily work assignments.
  • Provide performance feedback to crew members and **elevate** personnel issues or staffing needs to the Drop Installation Manager.
  • Foster a crew culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and professionalism aligned with Stimulus Technologies core values.
Safety and Compliance
  • Enforce compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations during your crew's drop installation activities.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure your crew utilizes required PPE and follows safe work practices.
  • Ensure your crew complies with 811 locate requirements, property access protocols, and all applicable permitting conditions.
  • Report all safety incidents, near-misses, and property damage involving your crew to the Drop Installation Manager immediately; participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
  • Ensure your crew members and vehicles maintain required certifications, licenses, and inspections.
Customer Interaction
  • Ensure your crew members interact with customers and property owners in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
  • Serve as the on-site escalation point for customer concerns or complaints during drop installation; resolve issues promptly or **elevate** to the Drop Installation Manager as needed.
  • Coordinate with customers and property owners on installation scheduling, access requirements, and any property restoration needs.
  • Ensure all customer-facing work areas are left clean and restored to pre-installation condition.
Communication and Reporting
  • Provide daily production updates to the Drop Installation Manager, including completed installs, issues encountered, and next-day plans.
