Job summary

The Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation is seeking a Drop & Count Staff member to verify cage counts, prepare cold boxes, and secure hot boxes at gaming machines. You will follow procedures, support slot drop operations, and report issues to supervision.

This role requires a high school diploma, ability to handle high-volume cash, confidentiality, and knowledge of gaming regulations. Evening and weekend work may be required, with travel to events as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires eye and hand coordination and manual dexterity; ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols; use of a computer, coin counter, calculator, copier and telephone.
• Must maintain high confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the legal regulations governing gaming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opens slot machines, pulls hot boxes, replaces with cold box, and secures doors of slot machine; secures hot boxes in cages and reports issues to supervisors.
• Prepares and processes high-volume gaming currency and tickets, Table Games chips and currency, and Ticket Redemption Unit currency and tickets; places cold boxes at slot machines.
• Prepares cages and verifies cold box count; signs forms for counts submitted to Casino Accounting and other departments.
• Safeguards assets and maintains security of cage carts, access cards, and drop/soft count keys.
• Performs other duties to support the department's efficient operation.
