Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation in Lewisville, TX seeks a UAV Site Operations Coordinator to oversee ground support logistics for UAV deployments, including flight line setup and maintenance, and coordination with 3PL resources.

You will enforce aviation safety standards, manage equipment and inventory, train technicians, and prepare regular reports on operations and incidents, while staying current with evolving UAV regulations.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 license preferred.
• Experience with drone technology and UAV operations.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills required.
• Experience in commercial or industrial UAV environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UAV site operations and 3PL resources for flight line setup and UAV delivery.
• Supervise maintenance of UAV-related equipment and ensure readiness for flights.
• Enforce aviation regulations, safety standards, and company procedures; conduct risk assessments.
• Coordinate with technical teams for timely repairs and updates of UAV equipment; manage inventories.
• Facilitate training for technicians on procedures and safety protocols; maintain training records.
• Prepare regular reports on operations, maintenance, incidents, and challenges; drive continuous improvements.
