Paladin is building autonomous drone systems for rapid response. We seek a mid-level QA Engineer to own test design, automation, and regression for both hardware and software layers, ensuring reliability in safety-critical workflows.

You’ll collaborate with FlightOps and engineering to expand test coverage and improve product quality. Join a mission-driven team advancing UAV tech with a focus on real-time video streaming, flight control validation, and scalable QA processes.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in software QA or a related technical field.
• Strong QA fundamentals, including test design, defect tracking, and regression testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, browser DevTools, and basic scripting or automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases for our software and hardware stack
• Lead testing efforts for releases involving flight control logic, video latency, or UI changes
• Write and execute automated tests using Postman or browser-based tools (e.g., Playwright)
• Help maintain a growing library of regression tests covering hardware and backend APIs
• Investigate and document complex bugs with logs, reproduction steps, and root cause analysis
• Coordinate closely with engineering and FlightOps teams for hardware-software integration testing
• Proactively discover new edge cases to strengthen and solidify our platform
