Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Ground Handler in Fort Wayne, IN to support drone delivery operations, handle equipment, monitor safety, and assist with warehouse tasks while maintaining safety standards.

Role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working up to 12-hour shifts, and possible travel of 25%. Valid Driver's License and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate are preferred. Multiple shifts including nights and holidays are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience in fast-paced, team environments and strong safety focus.
• Knowledge of aviation terminology and regulations.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or drone operations.
• Valid Driver's License and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support daily drone operations by handling equipment and batteries.
• Monitor airspace and report hazards.
• Assist with basic warehouse tasks and inventory.
• Follow SOPs and safety/compliance standards.
• Engage with community members and answer basic inquiries.
• Document activities using standard templates and tools.
