Job summary

CenterPoint Energy is seeking a UAS Data Analyst to support drone-based asset inspection programs. The role focuses on validating, organizing, and analyzing data from unmanned aircraft systems to deliver actionable insights for operations, GIS, and asset management.

You will build dashboards using Power BI or Tableau and collaborate across multiple teams to improve data quality and decision support. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of data

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Data Analytics, CS, Engineering, GIS, etc.).
• Minimum two years of experience in data analysis, data operations, or GIS.
• Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate AI-generated inspection findings from drone imagery and video.
• Manage high volumes of UAS inspection data including imagery, telemetry, and geospatial data.
• Develop repeatable processes for data intake, triage, validation, and storage.
• Analyze results and create dashboards, scorecards, and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with UAS Operations, GIS, Engineering, and other teams to improve data usability.
