Applicants should have a California instructor license (or ability to obtain one), a clean driving record, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Valid California Driving School Instructor License or ability to obtain one.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Strong knowledge of California DMV rules, traffic laws, and road safety standards.
• Patient, calm, and encouraging demeanor with students of all ages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide behind-the-wheel driving instruction to students of varying skill levels.
• Conduct in-car lessons covering defensive driving techniques, traffic laws, and road safety.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve driving performance.
• Maintain accurate student records, lesson logs, and progress reports.
• Ensure the safety of students during all driving sessions.
• Prepare students for the DMV driving test and licensing requirements.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the training vehicle is safe and road-ready.
