Jungle Driving School in Brecksville is seeking full-time and part-time instructors to teach in classrooms and behind-the-wheel. Join a growing team focused on developing safe, confident drivers using state-of-the-art tools and a hands-on curriculum.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years.
Must have a clean driving and criminal record and pass a background check.
Must successfully obtain an Ohio Driver Training Instructor License, if not already certified (prior certification is a huge plus!).
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively teach and engage teen drivers.
Calm, patient, and safety-focused mindset in high-pressure or unpredictable situations.
Prior experience in teaching, coaching, customer service, or law enforcement is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead students through the Jungle Driving approved classroom curriculum while also covering all essential state-required content to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of vehicle operation.
Administer tests and quizzes to ensure students retain important information and are ready for the road.
Ride along with student drivers, offering real-time feedback and assessing their skills to help them become competent drivers.
Help students become familiar with the car’s controls, gauges, and the basics of vehicle maintenance for safe, responsible driving.
Provide ongoing feedback to both students and parents as students improve their driving skills.
Prepare and submit all state and company required documents for student assessments and certifications.
Assist with other related tasks as needed to support our driving program and students’ success.

Jungle Driving School – Brecksville is currently hiring full-time and part-time classroom and/or behind-the-wheel Instructors to join a growing team of like-minded professionals committed to building something exceptional. This is not your average driving school. From our engaging, thoughtfully designed curriculum to our fully branded Jungle vehicles, every detail is intentional. We have state-of-the-art technology tools, including driver and student mobile apps, that will enable you to stay organized and on top of your schedule. Our mission goes beyond basic instruction—we are focused on developing safe, confident teen and adult drivers and delivering an experience that clearly sets us apart from the competition. Our Brecksville location is the first of multiple planned across the Cleveland area, making this a unique opportunity to get in at the ground level of a growing brand.

We will pay for your certification training and licensing, including the background checks needed to start the process.

In-Vehicle Guidance

Ride along with student drivers, offering real-time feedback and assessing their skills to help them become competent drivers.

As a Jungle Driving School Instructor, you’ll enjoy the rewarding opportunity to guide new drivers through every step of learning to safely operate a vehicle, empowering them to navigate the road with confidence and skill.

What does Ohio Driver Education Instructor Training consist of?

You will be required to do observations in a classroom and behind the wheel setting with students taking driver's education courses and then practice teaching at least one classroom and behind the wheel lesson. This training totals 52 hours and is a combination of online and in-person training at a partner driving school. In addition, you will need to complete an 8 hour virtual Basic Instructor Training Course and a 1-hour virtual Sexual Harassment Prevention Course. Ohio Driver Education Instructor Training is easily completed within a 6-8 week period, and we will guide you ever step of the way!

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
