Job summary

Mahomet-Seymour High School is seeking a part-time Driver Education Behind the Wheel Instructor for Fall sessions. The role requires a proper Driver Education endorsement and a current secondary teaching license to serve 9th–12th grade students.

Sessions run Sept 14–Oct 23 with makeup 10/26–10/30 and Nov 2–Dec 11 with makeup 12/14–12/18. Pay is $37/hour for each contact hour, subject to local bargaining agreement updates.

Qualifications

• Must hold proper Driver Education endorsement.
• Secondary teaching license required for 9th–12th grade.

Description and Qualifications:

Must have proper certification with a Drivers'Education Endorsement. Listed below are our BTW sessions for the Fall:

• Fall 1 (September 14th - October 23rd) with the makeup week on 10/26 - 10/30
• Fall 2 (November 2nd - December 11th) with the makeup being 12/14 - 12/18

Salary:

The rate of pay is currently $37/hour for each hour of student contact. NOTE: Our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement expired at the end of the 2025- 2026 school year and we are currently negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 2026-2027 school year. The aforementioned rate could change depending on our new negotiated collective bargaining agreement.
