National Car Rental in Wichita is seeking a full-time Driver at the Wichita Airport (2280 S. Eisenhower Pkwy, Suite 127). The role involves delivering vehicles and, when needed, assisting customers with courteous service and safety.

Shifts are Wed-Sun 6:00am-3:00pm or Thu-Mon 11:00am-8:00pm, with a consistent 40-hour week. The employer offers health, dental, vision, life, and retirement benefits, plus 401(k) with matching profit sharing and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver vehicles locally or regionally, following all traffic laws.
• Transport customers or vehicles to destinations safely and courteously.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel routes and ensure vehicle paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
• May clean vehicles or keep the bus clean during shifts.
• Assist customers with directions, options, and policy procedures.
• Help customers load and unload luggage and assist with miscellaneous needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Available Schedules Are

• Wednesday-Sunday 6:00am-3:00pm
• Thursday-Monday 11:00am-8:00pm

Responsibilities

The Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service.

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
• May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone
• May be asked to clean vehicle and/or keep bus clean during shift
• May be asked to assist customer(s) with directions, car options and basic policy/procedures
• May be asked to assist customer(s) load and unload luggage, enter and exit vehicle and miscellaneous customer needs
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
