Job summary

MRC Global is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support material delivery and warehouse operations at our Goldsboro, NC site. You will unload shipments, maintain inventory, label stock, and assemble customer orders to meet delivery timelines.

The role emphasizes safety, OSHA compliance, and accurate data entry in the SIMS system, with responsibilities including receiving, stocking, and processing customer orders while keeping the yard clean.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse operations or material handling preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English to follow safety instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customers on time and provide service.
• Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks.
• Inspect material for MRC Global quality requirements.
• Maintain site inventory and assist in inventory audits.
• Stock and transfer material to shelves, bins, or racks per sequence.
• Tag material with identifying information and assemble customer orders.
• Pull orders for delivery and stock-to-stock transfers.
• Load onto trucks or packing areas using forklift, crane, or heavy equipment.
• Prepare documentation for shipments (UPS, LTL, SH, Air).
• Enter incoming and outgoing inventory into SIMS and maintain cleanliness.
