Job summary

Famous Supply is a wholesale distributor serving contractors, builders and remodelers in HVAC, Plumbing, Building Products, Lighting, and Industrial/PVF. We are hiring Warehouse/Driver associates in Chesapeake, VA to perform warehouse duties and non-CDL deliveries.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, routing via smartphone, order accuracy, and assisting with warehouse tasks as needed. CDL is not required; lifting 50 lbs and standing all day are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver's license; CDL not required.
• Ability to operate a 26' box truck safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiar with smartphone apps for route navigation.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stage orders for delivery.
• Receive and put away materials; keep area clean.
• Load delivery trucks and verify orders for accuracy.
• Provide friendly customer service during deliveries.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
