Job summary

Epting Distributors, Inc. in Goldsboro, NC is hiring a Full Time Driver/Warehouse to support receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and deliveries. No CDL required but a clean driving record and DOT medical exam are needed. Forklift experience is required, with opportunities for advancement within a family-oriented HVAC distributor.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm, with occasional overtime and one weekend per year for inventory. Full benefits, 401k, and paid holidays are included.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass a DOT medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming products and inspect for defects.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records.
• Fill orders from stock and prepare items for shipment.
• Load outgoing trucks and ensure proper labeling.
• Keep the warehouse clean and safe according to protocols.
• Deliver products to customers and follow route schedules.

Full Time Driver/Warehouse position with HVAC Wholesale Distributor in Goldsboro, NC.

Epting Distributors, Inc. began as a small family operated business serving heating and air conditioning contractors in the Columbia, SC area. Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Inspection:

• Unload incoming products from trucks.
• Inspect products for defects and damages and report any issues.

Inventory Management:

• Organize stock in the warehouse and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure all products are stored properly and are easily accessible.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pull invoice tickets to fill orders from stock.
• Prepare and package items for shipment.

Shipping:

• Load outgoing trucks with products for delivery.
• Ensure shipments are correctly labeled and documented.

Warehouse Maintenance:

• Keep the warehouse neat, clean, and orderly.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Deliveries:

• Deliver products to multiple customers at different locations.
• Follow route and time schedules to ensure prompt delivery.
• Abide by DOT regulations and safety standards during deliveries.

Requirements

Driving Requirements:

CDL not required but must pass DOT Medical Exam to drive. MUST have a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

The position may require heavy lifting.

Equipment Experience

Forklift experience is required.

Drug Screening

Applicants must be willing to undergo pre-employment and random drug screening.

Qualifications:

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (warehouse open 7am to 5 pm)
• Overtime occasionally available
• Must be available 1 weekend per year for inventory
