SPI - Specialty Products & Insulation is hiring for a Commercial Driver/ Warehouse position in Austin, TX. You will deliver and unload products to customer locations and assist in receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and flexibility to support warehouse duties. Typical shifts begin between 5:30 am and 7:00 am, with responsibilities that include operating a CMV and assisting in the warehouse when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required for company vehicle use.
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001–26,000 lbs).
• Acceptable DMV record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs during loading/unloading of trucks.
• Deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to customer locations; build relationships with customers.
• Read, write and understand English; use navigation software to reach destinations.
• Shift starts vary from 5:30 am to 7:00 am.
• Assist in the warehouse about 20% of the time.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Your Responsibilities

Currently hiring a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver/ Warehouse to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to our customer locations.Assist in the Warehouse as needed to receive, store and distribute inventory.

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
• Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
• Shift schedule varies anywhere from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.
• Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Travel Requirements

Eighty (80%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range

$13.00 - $30.00
