Job summary

Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. seeks a full-time Tank Wagon Driver at our Chico location. You will transport and deliver petroleum products, load/unload with hoses, and complete required documentation.

Expect daily daytime shifts with DOT-compliant safety practices and real-time communication with dispatch. Requirements include a valid Class A or B CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements, a clean MVR, and at least 1 year of fuel-tanker experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Clean MVR and driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating fuel tankers or similar vehicles.
• Must pass DOT physical, background check, drug and alcohol screening, and driving test.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of fuel delivery equipment (hoses, meters, valves, safety shut-offs).
• Physically able to climb ladders, lift hoses, and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver petroleum products to customer locations, including gas stations and fleets.
• Load and unload products using hoses and pumps per DOT and company procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Verify load documentation matches product type and quantity; manage multiple grades if needed.
• Maintain DOT logs and deliver documentation; report delays or issues to dispatch.

Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Tank Wagon Driver to join our team at our Chico location. This position operates primarily during daytime hours.The Tank Wagon Driver safely transports and delivers petroleum products to customer locations.
