INcareTrans is seeking professional, dependable drivers to join our transportation team in Indiana. You will provide essential non-emergency medical transportation to seniors, veterans, and individuals with mobility challenges, upholding safety, compliance, and exemplary customer service at all times.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, operating wheelchair lifts, log trips with company technology, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle checks.
  • Ability to lift, push, and secure mobility devices (up to 50 lbs).
  • Must be able to speak and communicate in English.

  • Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients to medical appointments and other approved destinations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting findings and reporting issues.
  • Operate wheelchair lifts/ramps and secure mobility devices according to ADA and company standards.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, HIPAA/privacy, and company policies at all times.
  • Monitor trip schedules and communicate delays or incidents to dispatch.
  • Provide courteous, professional assistance to clients, including door-to-door or hand-to-hand service when required.

What you'll do

  • Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients to medical appointments, treatments, and other approved destinations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting findings and reporting issues immediately.
  • Operate wheelchair lifts/ramps and secure mobility devices according to ADA and company standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all safety, compliance, and HIPAA/privacy requirements.
  • Monitor and follow trip schedules as assigned by dispatch; communicate delays, concerns, or incidents promptly.
  • Provide respectful, patient, and professional assistance to every client, including door-to-door or hand-to-hand service as required.
  • Keep assigned vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Use company technology (GPS, dispatch software, telematics) to verify routes, log trips, and record required data.
  • Follow all company policies, including rules regarding distracted driving, client interaction, and uniform standards.
  • Represent INcare’s reputation for reliability, empathy, and excellence in every client encounter.

Qualifications

  • Valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 2 years of professional driving with a valid drivers license
  • Must have less than 4 points on your driving record
  • Must be able to alternate between shifts
  • Must be flexible with working times
  • Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to be on-call for at least 1 week per month
  • Must be flexible enough to be called in to support ad-hoc trips
  • Must be able to speak and communicate in English
  • Must be able to provide customer/client service on the go
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle checks.
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and secure mobility devices (up to 50 lbs).
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and driving long distances when needed.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Tidiness and cleanliness is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in NEMT, EMS, caregiving, paratransit, or related transportation fields.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience using dispatch or routing software.
  • Customer care and service

Education

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

  • Route driving: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification

  • Indiana Driver's License (Required)
