Job summary

CHR Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a transportation worker to provide safe and reliable transport for clients to work, school, clinics and appointments.

The role involves highway/city driving and flexible scheduling as needed, with ongoing support to clients and staff. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience with disabled individuals, and five years of driving experience with a clean license.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation to clients to/from work/school, clinic/office, doctors' appointments and other activities.
• Routinely check vehicles for fluid levels, tire pressure and wear; report issues to Supervisors/Transportation Coordinator.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs by picking up/delivering vehicles as needed.
• Assist State Licensing Agencies/Accreditation bodies during inspections and surveys as required.
• Accept any other duties assigned by supervisor or program director.

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum of high school diploma or GED and one-year experience with disabled or handicap individuals, and 5 years driving experience. Must hold current, violation free driver's license. Must be flexible to change in daily routine and schedules, be able to follow directions well, demonstrate strong communication skills, be able to read and follow transportation schedule, and be motivated to perform assigned duties. Some heavy lifting required.

Job Summary:

Job Duties:

• Provide safe and timely transportation to clients who are reporting to/from work/school, clinic/office, doctor's appointments and other program activities.
• Routinely check vehicles for fluid levels, tire pressure, general wear and tear and report to Supervisors/Transportation Coordinator.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles for maintenance and repair.
• Must cooperate with and/or assist all representatives of State Licensing Agencies/Accreditation bodies, as needed, during inspections and surveys.
• Any other duties assigned.
