Job summary

Coach USA in Chester, NY is seeking a self-motivated Driver Training Instructor to support the Driver Training Program. To satisfactorily perform this function, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team, display the ability to research information to resolve problems (Bus Schedules, Duty Boards, Bid Book, etc.), and establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A or B with passenger and air brake endorsement.
• Clean MVR.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 19 A Examiner Certification Preferred
• Pre-employment drug test and will be subject to periodic random Drug and Alcohol Testing

Responsibilities

• Conduct biannual refreshers for all operators.
• Conduct 30-60-90 days follow up refresher on new hires.
• Assist in basic operational procedures of the company.
• Maintaining driver compliance set forth by the FMCSA, FTA, NYSDOT.
• Assisting with monthly safety meetings

Essential Functions
