Coach USA in Chester, NY is seeking a Driver Training Instructor (Full-Time) to support the Driver Training Program. This role involves conducting refresher sessions for operators, and collaborating with the team to uphold safety and compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A or B with passenger and air brake endorsement.
• Clean MVR.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 19 A Examiner Certification preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and periodic random Drug and Alcohol Testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biannual refreshers for all operators.
• Conduct 30-60-90 days follow up refresher on new hires.
• Assist in basic operational procedures of the company.
• Maintaining driver compliance set forth by the FMCSA, FTA, NYSDOT.
• Assisting with monthly safety meetings.

Driver Training Instructor

Full-Time

Location: Chester, NY

Compensation: $60,000.00 Annually

Monday-Friday (Hours TBA)

Coach USA is seeking a self-motivated individual to support the Driver Training Program. To satisfactorily perform this function, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team, display the ability to research information to resolve problems (Bus Schedules, Duty Boards, Bid Book, etc.), and establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships.

Essential Functions

• Conduct biannual refreshers for all operators
• Conduct 30-60-90 days follow up refresher on new hires

• Maintaining driver compliance set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT)
