As the Driver Trainer you will partner in the success of the organizational support of the driver training program, maintaining regulatory compliance documentation, and fostering and advancing a strong safety culture.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Train new drivers, assisting with a two-day onboarding class, and conducting a three-week onboarding period in coordination with local safety mentors.
  • Work with struggling drivers to correct bad habits identified by the LYTX camera system.
  • Assist with vehicle accident investigations.
  • Participate in safety assist visits to locations, including ride-alongs and driver evaluations.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Hazmat, Tanker & Airbrakes Endorsements
  • Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
  • Must have one (1) year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record to include no more than two (2) convictions, OR two (2) at‑fault accidents in the last three years; OR no more than a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last three years.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • 50% travel and potential overnight travel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years in Manager or supervisory role preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years commercial driving experience preferred
